Our third grade buddies came to visit us today and we learned how to play games from the past. In kindergarten we had already learned that televisions, computers, and games that require batteries did not exist long ago. Instead children had to play with the things around them and use their imaginations. We learned how to play "Poor Doggie," Handkerchief and Nim. Nim is a math strategy game that is fun to play and requires the use of strategy. Here are the directions for the games:
